The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and He remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. Exodus 2:23:25
God said to Moses, "I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:14
We groan, We cry out for help. Rest assured, we have a great God who looks on us and is concerned about us in our troubles. The great I AM is with us! God who has eternal power and whose character is unchanging, hears our groans and cries for help and remembers us as His own children of the Covenant! How sweet and dear is that thought to hold onto when we feel like everything is crumbling around us?
Our God sees. He hears. He knows. And that great I AM can be trusted to do what is best for us as His child of the covenant. It may well be that our timetable is not the same as His! But He will rescue, He will save, He will come to our aid and at just the right time! All praise and glory to God!
