Back from Toronto

I so very appreciate that I can read the Scripture virtually anywhere.  I’m back from Toronto - from taking my son to a Video-Gaming Convention.  By Sunday, I had no qualms sitting in the middle of the convention floor where they had some tables set up for eating from the Snack Bars, opening up my Bible, and reading and journaling.  These days, I have my phone with me virtually everywhere, and I’ve become accustomed to using it to access Scripture at any given moment and situation.

But, in the end, there is no place like sitting at my desk, surrounded by me resources, and opening up the Word.  In it, I receive every time of that which Jesus came to do - to hear His preaching of the good news of the Kingdom of God and all that points to it in the Old and New Testaments.  And, somehow, as I take that message in, I also hope to join Jesus in the proclamation.
